About TotPlayer: a calm audio player for little listeners

Hi, I’m Rasmus, the maker behind TotPlayer. Like a lot of parents, I wanted my child to enjoy songs and sounds without handing over a screen built to keep them watching. The options I found were built around feeds, autoplay, and recommendations, designed to hold attention rather than to respect it.

So I built the player I was looking for: a small, warm shelf of songs that you choose, that works offline, and that a toddler can use on their own without wandering anywhere else.

Most children’s apps are built around an algorithm deciding what comes next. TotPlayer has no algorithm at all. Every song on your child’s shelf is there because you put it there.

TotPlayer is a paid product with a free 7-day trial, no card required. That is the whole business model. We do not sell data, we do not show ads, and we do not profile your child. When something in the app needs your attention, it asks you, the parent, never the child.
